Brussels, 02/02/2004 (Agence Europe) - Commissioner Philippe Busquin is to present, on Tuesday, two important communications from the European Commission. The first establishes a timetable for starting up the initiative launched with the European Space Agency for global monitoring for the environment and security. In a second communication, the Commission describes the preparatory action that is to lead to a research programme in the field of security in the run up to 2007.
