Koch's purchase of Invista is cleared

Brussels, 23/01/2004 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has authorised the US company Koch to purchase Invista, the former interiors and textiles division of DuPont. Koch operates in the energy and chemical products sector. The operation will bring together two businesses in the area of man-made fibres, namely Invista's nylon and elastane businesses and Koch's polyester businesses. The Commission has therefore examined the impact that the move would have on the synthetic fibres market...
