Brussels, 23/01/2004 (Agence Europe) - "Never say never" said Irish permanent representative Anne Anderson on Friday morning, having been called upon to comment on the news that the draft MEP staff regulations are dead, still facing the German veto on taxation issues. During the last meeting of the Committee of Permanent Representatives, Germany confirmed its opposition to article 16 of the draft on MEPs' expenses.
