Conciliation agreement more than likely on safety of third country aircraft on 27 January

Brussels, 23/01/2004 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday during a three-way meeting, the European Parliament and the Council agreed on the proposal of directive relating to the safety of third country aircraft using Community airports. The agreement - which was easy to conclude since only one of the Parliament amendments was a problem to the Council - was endorsed by the Committee of Permanent Representatives at the EU (Coreper) on Friday and it is highly probable that it will be approved by the...
