Emma Nicholson invites Leyla Zana to Brussels

Brussels, 20/01/2004 (Agence Europe) - British Liberal Emma Nicholson has invited Leyla Zana to Brussels. The latter, a Kurdish MP was awarded the Sakharov Prize in 1995 by the European Parliament, for Freedom of Thought but which she was unable to receive as she had been imprisoned since 1994, together with other Kurdish parliamentarians for alleged links with Kurdish rebels.
