Commission has until 4 February to send its appeal against Ecofin council's decision

Luxembourg, 16/01/2004 (Agence Europe) - Procedural deadlines in force for the European Court of Justice means that the Commission technically has until 4 February to send its appeal to the Court against the procedural aspects of the Ecofin Council on 25 November and for not having sanctioned France and Germany for their excessive budgetary deficits. The Commission has a two month deadline for appealing to the Court against this decision - 25 January, then 10 days till the deadline for this...
