15/01/2004 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday, Estonia officially appointed the former Prime Minister, Siim Kallas, as European Commissioner from 1 May 2004. After Latvia, the Baltic State is the second of the ten acceding countries to have notified its choice to President Prodi.
