Pascal Lamy's mission to Bangladesh, India and Indonesia - Meetings focus on reactivating Doha Agenda

Brussels, 15/01/2004 (Agence Europe) - As we announced earlier, Commissioner Pascal Lamy leaves on Saturday on an official mission to South and South East Asia. This mini-tour, which begins on Saturday in Bangladesh and will take him to India and then on to Indonesia by Wednesday, is intended to improve trade relations between the EU and these countries and to give fresh impetus to the multilateral negotiations on the Doha Agenda, it was said in Brussels on Thursday.
