Towards reasoned opinion to Germany on "Volkswagen law"

Brussels, 15/01/2004 (Agence Europe) - The Commission will decide next Wednesday to send Germany a reasoned opinion on "Volkswagen law", which, it feels, breaches the free movement of capital within the internal market. Germany will have two months to bring this infringement to an end, failing which the Commission could bring the case before the Court of Justice.
