EU Troika in Khartoum says relations with Sudan will get back to normal as soon as a peace agreement is signed

Brussels, 22/12/2003 (Agence Europe) - One of the last things done by the Italian Presidency of the Council of the EU was to organise a meeting in Khartoum (Sudan) on 18 December between an EU Troika headed by Italian Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs, Alfredo Mantica, and the Sudan foreign minister Mustafa Osman Imail in the framework of the EU-Sudan political dialogue launched in November 1999.
