Irish Presidency plans to build on progress in first half of 2004 in relations with the Western Balkans

Brussels, 23/12/2003 (Agence Europe) - Alongside the accession of 10 new Member States on 1 May 2004 (which will be celebrated in Dublin by the 25 heads of state and government at a huge Day of Welcome), the Irish Presidency of the EU is also planning to build on progress in relations with the enlarged EU's new neighbours.
