No lifting of immunity for Korakas

Brussels, 09/12/2003 (Agence Europe) - By adopting the report by Scottish Nationalist MEP Neil MacCormick, the European Parliament refused on Thursday in Brussels to lift the immunity for Greek Communist Efstatios Korakas (KKE). Parliament had already rejected another demand in the same case, which concerns a complaint made in a divorce case and which is therefore entirely in the filed of "fumus persecutionis".
