03/12/2003 (Agence Europe) - President Prodi, following a meeting in Brussels with Nino Bourdjanadze, provisional President of Georgia, did not make any commitment to the way in which relations between the EU and Georgia would be organised after the resignation of President Shevardnadze. He informed the press that they had begun to move in the same direction but needed more time. In Tbilissi, he confirmed that the Union had agreed to emergency aid of EUR 7 million.
