MEDA Community funding

Tunis, 03/12/2003 (Agence Europe) - On 2 December, the European Commission awarded Tunisia 43,224 million € in the form of non-refundable aid under the MEDA programme. This brings the total of effective payments since 1 January 2003 to 69.342 million € or 103 million TD, according to the Commission delegation to Tunis. These payments can be broken down into 19,580,000 € under the "Support for the reform of basic education" project; 12,594,000 € under "Structural adjustment facility...
