03/12/2003 (Agence Europe) - The EP's Green/Ale group reproached the Commission for not having adequately consulted the Parliament on its new strategy for the follow-up WTO negotiations. Caroline Lucas is concerned: some, or possibly all the controversial issues from Singapore will be withdrawn from the immediate agenda of the negotiations, but not from the WTO table. This ignores the overwhelming opposition of developing countries in Cancun, and risks leading to a new deadlock when the WTO...
