EDF threatened with loss of priviledges

Brussels, 28/11/2003 (Agence Europe) - DG Competition at the European Commission is planning to soon propose an end to the unlimited guarantee enjoyed by the French company EDF, to the College of Commissioner. This will affect its public status when contracting loans. This provision enables the company to escape the law on insolubility and bankruptcy.
