COMECE calls for reference to Christianity in preamble of Constitutional Treaty

Brussels, 03/11/2003 (Agence Europe) - The Commission of the Bishops' Conference of the European Community (COMECE), gathered in plenary assembly on 30 and 31 October in Brussels, renewed its call on EU governments taking part in the Intergovernmental conference on the future Constitutional Treaty to include a reference to Christianity in the Treaty preamble.
