Brussels, 03/11/2003 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday, the European Parliament is to discuss the Commission proposal aimed at establishing new harmonised rules as a framework for consumer credit within the Union, in the interest of increased lender responsibility and better consumer protection against over-indebtedness.
