ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) robotics

The French group, ALSTOM, has sold off its robotics subsidiary SCHILLING ROBOTICS (turnover USD 15 million in 2002 with 55 employees) in the framework of a take-over of the company by its employees. Located in California, this subsidiary specialises in use of under water robot systems. The amount spent on the deal remains undisclosed.
