08/10/2003 (Agence Europe) - The joint declarations on political dialogue between the EU and Serbia and Montenegro, on one hand, and between the EU and Bosnia-Herzegovina, on the other, were published in the Official Journal C240 of 7 October. The aim is to establish regular political dialogue between these two countries and the EU mainly in order to strengthen democratic principles and institutions, promote regional cooperation and cooperation with the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY), facilitate integration of the two countries in the European political landscape, and strengthen security and stability in Europe.
