Brussels, 26/09/2003 (Agence Europe) - Prior to his trip to Rome for the opening of the Intergovernmental Conference on 4 October, the President of the European Parliament, Pat Cox, is completing a tour of the Balkans. This will kick off on Sunday 28 September in Croatia. Mr Cox will then visit Serbia-Montenegro on 29 and 30 September, and the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia on the evening of the 30th and on 1 October. He will travel to Albania in the late afternoon and also spend the morning of 2 October, heading lastly for Bosnia-Herzegovina in the afternoon of that day. At each stage, the President of the European Parliament will meet the highest dignitaries of the State and address the national parliament.
