Brussels, 05/09/2003 (Agence Europe) - In its adoption of the report by Belgian Green Paul Lannoye on Thursday in Strasbourg, on priorities for the Union's co-operation policy in water development matters in developing countries, and the creation of a European Water Fund for ACP (Africa-Caribbean-Pacific) countries, the European Parliament pronounced itself clearly in favour of the promotion of a universal service guaranteeing access for all to clean water at a reasonable price.
