EP wants European Civil Protection Force set up quickly and asks for 94 million EUR for Portugal

Strasbourg, 05/09/2003 (Agence Europe) - In its adoption of a joint resolution by five political groups (EPP-ED, PES, ELDR, GUE/NGL and UEN) in Strasbourg on Thursday, on the impact of this summer's heatwave, the European Parliament is supporting the priority creation of a European Civil Protection Force.
