Brussels, 04/09/2003 (Agence Europe) - In its adoption of the somewhat amended report by British Green Jean Lambert on the co-ordination of social security systems (see EUROPE of 2 September, p.2), the European Parliament is supporting the Commission's proposals of December 1998 aiming to simplify and update regulation Nr 1408/71 on the co-ordination of social security systems.
