04/09/2003 (Agence Europe) - On 3 September, the European Parliament adopted the report by Elizabeth Lynne (ELDR, UK) on the rights and dignity of disabled persons and called on the EU to adopt a directive on the rights of the disabled. (For details, see EUROPE of 2 September, p.12-13).
