Development of broadband within EU the focus of informal communications meeting on 4 September

Brussels, 29/08/2003 (Agence Europe) - The informal meeting on communications organised by the Italian Presidency on 4 September in Viterbo will focus on current development of broadband within the EU as well as its development prospects. The meeting will be chaired by Italian Communications Minister Maurizio Gasaparri and will be attended by Commissioner for Telecommunications Erkki Liikanen and representatives of the European industrial sector.
