Brussels, 27/08/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) will be hosting an international conference in Brussels on 8-10 October on organised civil society's contribution to the Lisbon Process, calling for a more pro-active EU. The conference will be attended by business representatives, trade unions, organised civil society in the EU and the new Member States, and the European Institutions.
