Haladjian, importer of construction engine spare parts, claims that US corporation Caterpillar is breaking competition rules in the EU

Luxembourg, 27/08/2003 (Agence Europe) - The company Haladjian Frères, based in Sorgues (France) is taking the European Commission to court for rejecting its complaint against the US giant Caterpillar, which it accuses of exercising a dominant position and price fixing in the European market.

In Haladjian's view, Caterpillar has developed a spare parts exchange system in the EU that infringes EU competition rules (Articles 81 and 82 of the Treaty). Haladjian accuses the European Commission...
