Anna Diamantopoulou expects lengthy discussion before a directive is adopted to ban gender discrimination

Brussels, 30/06/2003 (Agence Europe) - Early last week, The Financial Times revealed that the European Commission was preparing to finalise a legislative proposal aimed at banning sex discrimination, a proposal which would have a powerful impact on the media, advertising and insurance sectors.
