Verheugen welcomes new political reforms approved by Turkish Parliament but insists on implementation

Brussels, 23/06/2003 (Agence Europe) - Last Friday, Enlargement Commissioner Günther Verheugen welcomed the adoption by the Turkish Parliament of a new political reform package considered essential for Turkey to be able to meet the political criteria set out in Copenhagen and to move forward to accession talks with the EU.
