13/06/2003 (Agence Europe) - On Friday, Slovakia signed a judicial cooperation agreement with Europol, covering better information exchange and enhanced coordination of cross-border operations between Europol and the Slovakian judicial and police authorities, boosting the fight against organised crime in Europe. Slovakia will not have a permanent Liaison Officer at Europol's headquarters in The Hague. To date, eight other countries have also signed cooperation agreements with Europol, namely the United States, Slovenia, Estonia, Norway, Poland, Iceland, Hungary and the Czech Republic.
