Brussels, 30/04/2003 (Agence Europe) - The French prime minister Jean-Pierre Raffarin argued the case on Tuesday evening of restaurant owners, who are calling for a cut in VAT, and French farmers, fined for price fixing. Raffarin was speaking with Romano Prodi and during their interview (the third since Raffarin was appointed prime minister) the two men discussed Europe's institutional perspectives, the need for a European growth plan and for the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP).
