30/04/2003 (Agence Europe) - The rate of inflation in the Euro-zone declined from 2.4% in March to 2.1% in April, according to a Eurostat flash estimate published on Wednesday. This rate is lower than market expectations - economists were counting on a rise of 2.2% - and is the lowest level since September 2002.
