Inquiry into aid planned for Peugeot plant (cars)

Brussels, 30/04/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has decided to initiate the formal investigation proceedings concerning aid amounting to £ 16 million for investments to French car manufacturer Peugeot Citroën United Kingdom. The aid is destined to support investments to be carried out by PSA in its existing car plant in Ryton, located in the West Midlands region necessary for the production of the replacement model of the current Peugeot 206.
