Ad hoc delegation in Ankara for the trial of Leyla Zana

Brussels, 17/04/2003 (Agence Europe) - An ad hoc delegation led by the member of the Dutch Green party, Joost Lagendijk, President of the European Parliament Delegation for relations with the Turkish Grand National Assembly, will be in Ankara on 24 and 25 April to follow the next stage of the new trial of Leyla Zana, the former Turkish parliamentarian of Kurdish origin, and other former MPs of the DEP party.
