Athens, 07/04/2003 (Agence Europe) - At the informal Ecofin Council of 4 and 5 April in Athens, Commissioner Pedro Solbes gave the Economy and Finance Ministers of the EU a taster of the economic forecasts that the European Commission is to adopt in Strasbourg on Tuesday. He warned, however, that due to the international context, these estimates are surrounded by a "high degree of uncertainty".
