EU urges Israelis and Palestinians to "act with the utmost restraint"

Brussels, 21/03/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Council calls on Israel and Palestine to "act with the utmost restraint" to find a solution to their conflict. "These are times for negotiation, compromise and reconciliation, not for the vicious circle of hatred, confrontation and violence" note the European Council conclusions.
