Loan for "green" energy in United Kingdom

Luxembourg, 17/03/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Investment Bank (EIB) is to lend 10 million pounds sterling (circa 15 million euro) to United Utilities Green Energy Limited to fund projects in the renewable energy sector, in various parts of England and Wales. These projects, with investments of £20m, are based around installations for the production of wind energy, small-scale hydroelectric energy, and energy made from biomass and landfill gases.
