17/03/2003 (Agence Europe) - In an interview published in Monday's Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, the German Minister of Foreign Affairs, Joschka Fischer, reacted to statements by American political commentator Robert Kagan that Europeans are from Venus and Americans from Mars, which is supposed to account for the difference in attitudes to the Iraqi crisis. "No", exclaimed Joschka Fischer; "we Europeans survived Mars, and are now trying to adapt to realities on Earth".
