Strasbourg, 17/03/2003 (Agence Europe) - In its adoption on Thursday of a resolution on Burma, the EP is insisting on re-launching dialogue with Aung San Suu Kyi. It has asked the SPDC to demonstrate its intention of arriving at a national reconciliation, fully supporting the mediation efforts between the SPDC and the "ethnic nationalities" permitted by the Thai Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra.
