27/02/2003 (Agence Europe) - After his talk with Spanish Prime Minister José Maria Aznar, on Wednesday in Paris, President Chirac told the press, according to Reuters, that France and Spain could possibly present a joint contribution to the Convention. "We have a common approach (…), we have solutions that are extremely close to each other", Jacques Chirac affirmed regarding the French and Spanish positions. He went on to add: "to the extent, moreover, that we shall probably be able to have a contribution with our German and English friends that is either in common or very close". Mr Aznar commented: "I believe there will be no difficulty in this … We are seeking agreements in the context of a certain flexibility".
