Brussels, 27/02/2003 (Agence Europe) - On the occasion of the Greek EU Council Presidency, the fourth annual conference of the Parliamentary Network on the World Bank will be held on 9 and 10 March in Athens. It will be attended by Ecofin Council President Nikolaos Christodoulakis, World Bank President James Wolfenson and International Monetary Fund Director Horst Köhler.
Around one hundred parliamentarians from countries all over the world take part in this dialogue launched three years ago by parliamentarians in order to discuss with governments and international institutions, mainly regarding the contribution that parliaments can make to the fight against poverty.
