17/02/2003 (Agence Europe) - In a press release, the International Union of Public Transport (IUPT) insists on the quality of public transport services in order to "reconcile the individual needs and the stakes of the community". The IUPT, which represents the interests of the main players in the public transport sector, above all recommends that the authorities "integrate this quality approach in tendering and contract procedure".
