Sharp criticism of draft presidium articles

Strasbourg, 14/02/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Constitution Intergroup of the European Parliament, meeting in Strasbourg, has examined the draft Articles presented by the Presidium of the European Convention and has strongly criticised them for both the style and content. The Intergroup consider that, "the text is more like the current European treaties than a constitutional text…it is too technical and too descriptive".
