Conference of Presidents reject creation of committee of enquiry into use of Community funds by Palestine, but a working group to be created

Strasbourg, 13/02/2003 (Agence Europe) - On the fringe of the plenary session in Strasbourg on Thursday, the Conference of Presidents of the Political Groups of the European Parliament refused to agree to the request for the creation of a temporary committee of enquiry into the use of Community funds in Palestine (see EUROPE of 6 February, p.17 and 25 January, p.13).
