EP calls for "chronological roadmap" to check that Lisbon Strategy is actually being carried out

Strasbourg, 13/02/2003 (Agence Europe) - Concluding its debate of the forthcoming Spring Summit (see yesterday's EUROPE pp. 14 and 15), the European adopted a joint resolution, by 359 in favour, 89 against and 41 abstentions tabled by the EPP-ED, PES. ELR and UEN groups stressing that the European Council will be judged by its ability to catch up the delay in achieving the current results of the Lisbon Strategy.
