13/02/2003 (Agence Europe) - The Accession Treaty of the ten new members of the EU, with its 4,500 pages, is proof of the serious way in which this enlargement was prepared, comments the CSU member Joachim Wuermeling MEP in a press release. Reading this gigantic work, he remarks, proves that the grand enlargement will not come in "one go", but that there will need to be many small steps before the new members are fully integrated in the European Union, in 2003.
