30/01/2003 (Agence Europe) - On the occasion of its 25th meeting, on 17 January in Lisbon, the Management Board of the EMCDDA (European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction) elected its new Chairman, Marcel Reimen from Luxembourg. He takes over from British national Mike Trace whose three-year term of office expires this month. The Board also renewed the members of the Bureau. (For information: http: //www.emcdda.eu.int).
