30/01/2003 (Agence Europe) - British Labour MEP Richard Corbett stressed in a press release that unilateral American action in Iraq without the UN's backing "would undermine international law, split the international coalition against Iraq" and NATO. If, in these circumstances, the United Kingdom follows the Americans "it would divide us from our European partners", whereas "we should choose Europe not America", says Corbett.
