Euro Cash User group set up

Brussels, 30/01/2003 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday the European Commission and the European Central Bank (ECB) decided to jointly set up 'Euro Cash User group' responsible for consulting and co-operating with representatives from the private sector on issues related to euro cash. The consultative group will consist of representatives from the banking sector, vending industry, as well as representatives of retailers, cash in transit companies and SMEs.
